S.H.E. Creates Three Favorite Summer Dishes
Life in the summer is different than real life that is lived out in schedules. And because it’s different in timing, it’s also different in eating. We eat lighter and have access to more fresh foods. The Chopped Caprese Salad is overwhelmingly delicious! Chances are your neighbors are growing those fresh tomatoes and basil - I AM! This Grilled Corn with Jalapeño Aioli & Parmesan Cheese is a unique twist on a standard vegetable. But my absolute favorite meal (or side dish) is the Vietnamese Summer Rolls my sister-in-law taught me how to make. We include boiled pork and fresh asian vegetables. These vegetables are offered in bulk at the Asian supermarkets. Each city has at least one. So plan to make a lot of rolls - Invite friends! Their are a variety of dipping sauces you can offer on they side. I love the Peanut sauce, Hoisin sauce or Asian Sweet Vinegar sauce.
