This weekend I fell into a creative mode with branches and a couple of cans of spray paint. We needed some creative way to display our S.H.E. jewelry so I chose some strong branches from the yard, ones that have good strength, yet imperfect form. I cleaned the branches, and I primed them with white spray paint. I coated them twice with my favorite colors we have in our studio space right now, bright pink and orange. They dried within 20 minutes. Then I took a tube of acrylic metallic gold paint and brushed the tips of each stem, I even painted the knots or nubs so it looked like every branch counts. I’ve grouped them together in a glass vase and voila! An artistic creation custom made for our space. Get inspired. Go out and make something.
