Ok, it’s REALLY cold outside. So this week I’m not going to recommend hitting a new trail, or anything else that involves going outdoors. Instead, try the 5 minute workout listed below. If it’s not long enough, double it, triple it! Personalize it. Increasing our heart rate and adding strength maneuvers is the key to fitness. Put on some favorite music that gets you pumped and go at it. The family and dog may raise eyebrows at first, but you say to them “At least I’m doing something!” We all have the power inside us to make it a better weekend. Don’t let embarrassment, shyness, or newness be your reason to say no. Stay indoors, sweat and you WILL feel better physically with more energy, emotionally with a clear mind, and spiritually with a grounded perspective.
