Set new Goals for your mind, body and spirit. If my old ways of thinking are not working for me (i.e. I’m not making progress), then I adapt a new mindset. I explore what is holding me back. Is it an injury I fear? Is it pride, shame or anxiety of something that is keeping me from growing in a particular area?
Eliminate bad habits you know are going to either harm you or kill you! Why do we continue to perform tasks, or repeat use of bad things we know are damaging us? Look at your kids? Are they not worth it?
Reduce stress! Stop hanging around people who suck the life out of you! Choose to only be with those people who give you energy. Energy is a gift! Lighten your load. I like to take things off my list. Delegate. Say no!
Find company on your journey. No one wants to venture out alone, especially when the journey can be difficult. Ask for help. Be a mentor to someone else. This will inspire you. I love to find someone who is better at what I seek and attach myself to them. These people love to mentor and lead.
