Lifelessonslovelessons.com posted to our site on Monday and the topic was A.C.T - Acknowledge, Create, and Try…the idea that your actions will create change. Tuesday night I read a post from a good friend on facebook that was random, so very thoughtful and inspiring all at the same time. My friend, Macie Martin Lawton wrote," Today, for multiple reasons…many, many reasons…I am reminded that life is very, very short. All my problems seem so silly, so trivial, compared to what I know so many I love and care about are navigating through even as I type this. If but for a moment today, look around you…count your blessings, hug your kids, kiss your spouse, let the house be messy, eat dessert first, giggle with a friend…take a moment and breathe in all the sweetness that you have around you." While I am not surprised to find such a meaningful expression on her wall, I was taken back by it’s significance for me and others that read it. It hit me at that moment that being random in our “ACT’s” can really be a powerful tool in our lives. Doing something different from a place of love or passion often times will turn the tables for you and the people in your world.
Today I am grateful for my friends that inspire me to be ME. They encourage me not to do any blending (unless we’re blending cocktails 😁 ) It is my hope that your A.C.T’s will inspire another and encourage them not to blend for comfort. Help them but take a chance with something on their heart.
