IF YOU DIDN’T KNOW YOUR AGE, HOW OLD WOULD YOU BE?
This is one of my favorite questions. I’ve been asked this many times. When I go to answer I do the following exercise: I close my eyes, and see where my mind goes. It does not go forward, it only reverts. I allow it to go backward as far as the reasonable mind will allow. I used to be 27 for a long time, for years (awkward smile). Now I’m up to age 34. Don’t ask me why, but it has to do with the body changing and allowing the mind to follow. My real age is higher than this. If we keep our thoughts young, our bodies healthy and our thinking clear, we will foster the environment that breeds youth. I would not change places with where I am. I cherish my experiences, wisdom, clarity and discernment. Aging does not have to be a negative process. Go out this weekend and embrace where you are in life, who you are with and foresee a future full of fun, grace and fulfillment!
