"I have been absolutely terrified every moment of my life - and I’ve never let it keep me from doing a single thing I wanted to do." - Georgia O’Keeffe
SHE Created what she was born to create, a life filled with adventure, discover and beautiful art. Georgia O’Keeffe was born on November 15, 1887, the second of seven children, and grew up on a farm in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. She was determined to make art her passion in life. After years of study, she lost interest in art and it wasn’t until she took a summer course for art teachers at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, that she was introduced to the then revolutionary ideas of artist and art educator Arthur Wesley Dow. Her life, her art and her perspective was forever changed by this relationship and connection.
Finding your passion is sometimes the easiest, its further developing it, believing in it and being open to opportunities and people you may meet along the way that takes commitment, focus and prayer.
Live without limits - you never know what you will find.
