eli connaughton: The Art of Chunky Dunkin

I was at Lake Keowee this past weekend with a group of girlfriends. At 45, I am one of the younger ones, and I must say, it is a fabulous position to be in. Not because I find any sort of ego boost from being younger, but because I get to see what life might look like 8-10 years down the road….

I LOVE THIS STORY! A must read that takes an honest look at self! How, that at the end of the day, our self image is largely a manifestation of our thoughts, ideas and actions.  Brene Brown, author of The Gifts of Imperfection, illustrates the many positives that come from accepting our selves, our imperfections and developing courage to make positive and sometimes difficult changes for your life.  Newsflash!  45 years in to this life I realized that I may not perfect!  Through a sea of mistakes, missteps, physical changes and experiences I would rather not repeat, I have found laughter, freedom, a new sense & love for exactly who I am.  I now know that I what I do next is what really counts. Love YOU today and tomorrow will as bright as ever!  Thank you Eli! xxoo
